Scrambling School
The 2025 Scrambling School application is closed. The 2026 application will open Spring, 2026.
Course Description:
Scrambling is off-trail travel that involves climbing peaks and passes over rock and snow. Scrambling is sometimes called “non-technical” climbing, requiring the use of hands but not generally ropes or other protection.
This course will emphasize safe travel over rocky terrain, including methods for protection and assistance when needed. Outdoors sessions will provide hands-on experience for climbing and safety skills.
